
When it comes to sex, the first place everyone’s mind inevitably goes is the association with physical pleasure… and there is nothing wrong with that. But, here at fit and sexed, we would like to show you how being fit and getting sexed can go hand in hand. Sex can be a workout in itself. Depending on the position you assume during a session of intercourse, you can actually target a given muscle-set and get in a decent workout.
As an example, for men, in the missionary position the amount of stress put on the abs can be equivalent to an abdominal workout in the gym. Other than that, the standing wheelbarrow position can be an excellent way to flex and work the back muscles.
For women, on the other hand, being on top of a partner, in the seated position and leaning back to rest on the hands, can offer an abdominal workout comparable to the workout a man would get in the missionary position.
There are also many other positions that may offer different workouts. So, the idea for today is getting fit by being sexed. the next chance you get, pick up a copy of the Kama Sutra and think about the way in which given positions can work given muscle groups. It sure beats going to the gym, doesn’t it?!
